Way different from the capital, the Mediterranean picturesque French city of Nice, with the golden coastline, rich history, and crazy nightlife, seems to mesmerize its visitors. As the center of the French Riviera, Nice is a popular destination all – year round. A place to enjoy life, wander around the promenade and be delighted by its cultural wealth and beauty. Here is what you should not miss as you stroll around the city.

- Explore Vieille Ville (the Old Town)
The Italian character of the city is quite distinctive, compared with other French cities, especially in the Old Town of Nice or else “Babazouk”. You can walk around and look for the Marché aux Fleurs (Flower Market), the Galerie des Ponchettes (a museum about the artwork of Raoul Dufy), the Nice Cathedral, or just wander the narrow alleys and cobblestones with small cafes. A good idea could be to take a tour and get to know the Old Town through the eyes of a local.

- Enjoy the salty air in Promenade des Anglais
Through this gorgeous pedestrian area, lined with palm trees and blossomed gardens, many local inhabitants enjoy their walks daily, but Sunday is a must. Popular also with cyclists and skaters, this huge promenade looks like it hugs the Mediterranean Sea and extends for about 7km.
