- Explore Vieille Ville (the Old Town)

The Italian character of the city is quite distinctive, compared with other French cities, especially in the Old Town of Nice or else “Babazouk”. You can walk around and look for the Marché aux Fleurs (Flower Market), the Galerie des Ponchettes (a museum about the artwork of Raoul Dufy), the Nice Cathedral, or just wander the narrow alleys and cobblestones with small cafes. One of the largest squares in Nice, this area was designed in commemoration of the famous Nice resident, Garibaldi.
